About the Role

As a Data Center Operations Engineer, you will collaborate with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.

You'll have the opportunity to work on changing the face of cloud technology in large-scale high-density data centers, where no two days are alike. Each day presents new challenges and opportunities to grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and configure racks of hosts according to internal Service-Level Agreements (SLA)
  • Diagnose and repair issues for server, storage, and network devices, including physical replacement of parts
  • Remediate or recover physical power issues on racks and participate in Data Center power & cooling events

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
  • 1+ years of computer networking experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
  • Knowledge of server hardware and components
  • 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following hardware platforms (e.g., Dell, HP, Supermicro) is a plus
