AAMG is seeking an experienced Mechatronic Systems Engineer to join our team in a technical engineering/diagnostics position. The successful candidate will support machine build technicians, troubleshoot potential errors, and design and document electrical control systems.

This is a permanent full-time role with a competitive salary package and opportunities for career development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechatronics, electrical engineering, and experience with mining mobile machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support machine build technicians with electrical connections and fault finding
  • Design and document electrical control systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems
  • Test and commission mobile mining machines
  • Support a large autonomous fleet with ongoing delivery targets

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
  • 2+ years' experience in the field
  • Strong electrical circuit knowledge
  • Basic hydraulic circuit knowledge
  • Experience with mining mobile machines preferred
  • Great troubleshooting and communication skills
  • C++ or C-based programming preferred
  • CANBUS knowledge or experience
