We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our Transmission Lines team at WSP. As a leader in the field, you will be responsible for delivering key solutions for our clients and driving future-ready outcomes that benefit clients and communities.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on iconic projects, collaborate with talented professionals, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions. You will lead designs, provide technical support, and mentor junior engineers to enhance their capabilities and the reputation of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver technical solutions to clients in the overhead transmission and distribution market
  • Lead project teams and provide guidance on transmission line design, testing, and commissioning
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to secure new opportunities
  • Provide technical support to clients' operations, suggesting improvements and upgrades
  • Comply with all role-specific Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) obligations
About You
  • University degree in Electrical, Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Extensive professional experience in a related discipline
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively with people at all levels
  • Good knowledge of Australian and International standards relevant to overhead transmission line design, testing, and commissioning
  • Proficient in PLS-CADD software, including TOWER and POLE
