Transportation Operations Manager

This role is responsible for managing and directing delivery operations to maximise efficiency, productivity, and value.

The Role:

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise delivery routes, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
  • Lead and promote a safety-first culture that creates a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with demonstrable success.
  • A proven track record in leadership positions within transportation and logistics.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and laws governing heavy vehicle operation, transportation, fatigue management, and Chain of Responsibility.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and planning skills for efficient route planning and cost management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HSE and legislative requirements within transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
