Crop Gatherer

Job Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Vegetable Harvester to join our team. As a key member of our harvesting crew, you will be responsible for manually gathering vegetables and mixed leafy greens on farms, working mainly outside in the field; or preparing produce for distribution, working mainly within an indoor packing facility.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work effectively in a team environment to ensure efficient harvesting and quality control
• Stand and bend over for long periods to inspect and harvest crops
• Be proactive in maintaining a safe working environment and following quality insurance processes
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve team goals

Working Conditions:

• Work in a range of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and humidity
• Stand and walk for extended periods on uneven terrain
• Be willing to work at heights and use manual handling equipment safely

Requirements:

• Be physically fit and able to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting
• Have good communication and teamwork skills
• Be able to follow instructions and work independently when required
