Teaching Assistant Role for Primary Schools

This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on classroom experience in a supportive environment.

You will be working closely with class teachers to support the learning and development of pupils in early years foundation stage (EYFS), key stage 1 (KS1), or key stage 2 (KS2).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging lessons to support pupil learning.
  • Support individual pupils and small groups, including those with additional needs.
  • Contribute to assessment of pupil progress through observation and feedback.
  • Prepare teaching materials and classroom displays.
  • Promote positive behaviour and uphold school values.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children is highly desirable.
  • A degree in any subject is essential; education-related degrees are desirable.
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education or working with children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and compassionate approach to supporting learning.
