The Role & Team
We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive Accountant to become part of our dynamic Finance team on a fixed-term contract. Reporting directly to the Regional Financial Accounting Manager, you will collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization and prepare monthly and annual financial statements for a portfolio of shared venture stores across Australia and New Zealand.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring precise financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and the preparation of Profit and Loss statements while working closely with different teams.
- Conducting thorough bank reconciliations for all store accounts.
- Engaging with store partners and stakeholders to provide accurate data for evaluating store performance.
- Utilizing your accounting expertise to improve efficiency and excellence in a dynamic setting.
Desired Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles with the ability to convey complex accounting concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Part Qualified / Qualified CPA/CA.
- Strong attention to detail with the capability to provide accurate information for analyzing store performance.
- Intermediate Excel skills are essential.
- A motivated and collaborative team player, capable of meeting strict deadlines.
