Program Overview

The role of an Early Childhood Educator is a key position within our educational program, responsible for delivering high-quality learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational programs aligned with sound knowledge of early childhood development and current educational practices under the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Frameworks.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information on children's learning and development through recorded observations and interpretation of their responses, needs, and interests.
  • Assess developmental needs of children, including referrals to specialist services, and provide information and advice for families regarding their child's learning and development.
Requirements
  • Minimum three-year Early Childhood teaching qualification as approved by ACECQA.
  • Current VIT registration.
  • Demonstrated capacity and experience in planning and implementing a high-quality early childhood program that is play-based and child-focused.
  • Sound Knowledge of the Early Years Framework, National Quality Standards, and the Rating & Assessment process.
  • Capacity to fulfill all regulatory and legislative compliance obligations associated with being a certified supervisor.
  • Ability to work in both team environments and independently.
