Social Media Content Specialist

About the Role
The Social Content Coordinator is a key position within the Content & Social team at Bunnings, responsible for implementing the company's social strategy across Australia and New Zealand. This role involves creating and coordinating engaging social content that brings the Bunnings brand and product range to life, while staying on top of industry and social trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop clear plans and briefs for the content production team to produce high-quality social content that drives audience engagement and grows the community.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to produce, shoot, edit, and deliver social content that meets the company's standards.
- Track social content performance, reporting as needed, and continually optimize the approach for growth.
- Present a keen awareness of trending topics in search, social, and competitor websites to generate new and timely content.
- Represent social content in meetings, discussions, and presentations, delivering plans and strategies to stakeholders for approval as needed.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Media, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of proven experience in social media working across social platforms.
- Experience using Hootsuite is beneficial.
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to deliver to strict deadlines, under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and/or briefs at any one time.
- Customer-first mindset and ability to understand customer motivations and behavior on social platforms.
