Purchasing leaders are responsible for overseeing procurement activities within assigned categories.

  • Manage day-to-day procurement operations to optimize results and efficiency.
  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate better pricing and lead times.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to forecast demand and support strategic planning.
  • Assist in reviewing pricing agreements and reporting on supplier performance metrics.
  • Contribute to process improvements and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of procurement systems and support the development of enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
  • Certified in procurement and supply management (CIPS Level 4) or equivalent certification.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and commercial awareness.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP systems.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to business growth.
