Operational Risk Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager to join our team and help drive effective risk management practices across our business unit.

This role involves championing a strong risk culture and ensuring operational risks are proactively identified, assessed, and managed. You will work closely with business leaders to implement frameworks, monitor controls, and support regulatory compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) and ensure alignment with bank-wide frameworks
  • Test the design and operating effectiveness of controls
  • Manage Risk-In-Change processes for new initiatives and systems
  • Manage incidents, issues, and complaints end-to-end, including root cause analysis and remediation
  • Contribute to reporting for senior leadership and the Executive Risk Committee
  • Deliver targeted risk and compliance training and foster a proactive risk culture

You will be a confident, detail-oriented professional with a strong risk mindset and the ability to influence behaviours across the business.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in operational risk and/or compliance within banking or financial services
  • Solid understanding of key regulatory obligations
  • Experience with RCSAs, control testing, and incident management
  • Exposure to executive-level reporting and governance
