Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children, families, and team members. This includes complying with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies, Procedures, and Requirements.

Requirements

To be eligible for this traineeship, you must not hold a previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school within the last 7 years. You should also possess:

  • A willingness to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.
  • A permanent right to work in Australia.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
  • Flexible availability.
  • Interest in early years education.
  • Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one).
  • Proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps, and Rubella and Whooping Cough (Pertussis) (or be willing to receive).
