Technical Fabricator

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly skilled team and contribute to the operation of a large processing plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive fault-finding and diagnostic assessments across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, low voltage electrical and robotics systems;
• Conduct end-to-end fabrication and modification of replacement parts including use of lathes and mills;
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and deliver rapid repairs to reduce downtime;
• Carry out repairs, replacements and adjustments on range of machinery from pumps to motors, conveyors and gearboxes;
• Follow safety procedures, holding safety as the highest priority; and
• Collaborate with other maintenance and production teams to support operations.

The successful candidate will hold or be working towards a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade and possess experience in fault finding, root cause analysis and diagnostics.
