Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Occupational Therapist to join our allied health team. As an Occupational Therapist at Novita, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualised therapy programs to help our clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess clients' needs and develop individualised therapy plans
  • Implement and evaluate therapy programs to ensure they are meeting clients' needs
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of community-based programs and activities
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working with clients with physical and intellectual disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Sound understanding of person-centred thinking and the principles of NDIS
