Senior Technology Executive Wanted

The Salvation Army is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technology Executive to join its team. As the leader of the Aged Care IT department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing technology strategies that support the needs of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement technology strategies that align with the overall business strategy and goals.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to teams when implementing new technology solutions and projects.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for related products and services.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments in technology and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Ensure systems are leveraged to their full capabilities and adopted across the organisation.
  • Liaise with other departments and stakeholders to understand their technology needs and ensure that IT solutions are aligned with their requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT management role, preferably in the aged care industry.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards relating to technology.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
