Job Description

A leading private provider is seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to contribute to the delivery and ongoing improvement of a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education. This key role involves providing high-quality, inclusive teaching and supporting students to succeed while ensuring program compliance with relevant standards.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging teaching, contribute to curriculum and assessment design, and provide mentorship to academic colleagues where appropriate. They will also play a crucial role in ensuring best practice in learning and teaching across the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, inclusive, and engaging teaching that supports student learning and success.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring content is contemporary, evidence-based, and accessible.
  • Develop and review assessments in line with program outcomes and accreditation requirements, ensuring fairness and transparency.
  • Provide constructive feedback, maintain accurate student records, and support at-risk students through appropriate interventions.
  • Participate in moderation, academic committees, and cross-campus teaching collaborations.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to academic staff as required, supporting consistency and professional growth.
  • Contribute to program evaluation and improvement through reflective practice, research, and professional development.
  • Model professionalism, integrity, and inclusivity in all academic and community interactions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum two years of post-qualification experience in early childhood education.
  • Strong understanding of theory and practice in early childhood education.
