Job Description

This role involves sharing knowledge and experience with our students during residential schools in Rockhampton. Sessions include comprehensive assessments, clinical skills training, and scenario-based learning.

You will work closely with our academic team to deliver high-quality educational experiences and contribute to the development of our students' skills and knowledge.

What's Involved

• Comprehensive neurological assessment (cranial nerve assessment and reflexes, eye and ear examination etc.)
• Comprehensive cardiac assessment (incl. heart sounds, JVP, central line management etc.)
• Comprehensive respiratory assessment
• Limb assessment
• Wound management (LA, ring blocks, wound closure skills)
• Other clinical skills (such as indwelling catheter management, PEG tube problem solving, etc)

Sessions are conducted in a small group setting, focusing on practical application and hands-on learning.

Position Requirements

• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional Qualifications as a Medical Practitioner.
• Current Professional Registration
• Relevant Work Experience

We require a commitment of 2-4 hours per session over 1-3 days, but flexibility is negotiable based on your availability.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive casual rate for this position, which ranges between $100-$200 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
