The Department of Medicine at Mackay Base Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncology Staff Specialist to join their team on a Permanent Part-Time basis.
The Oncology Unit at Mackay Hospital and Health Service provides comprehensive inpatient ward rounds and daily outpatient clinical services, including telehealth to regional hospitals. Our day unit is staffed by trained oncology nurses and pharmacists and administers treatments five days per week.
We work closely with our radiation oncology colleagues at private facilities and other hospitals to deliver high-quality care to patients. We participate in a small number of clinical trials and are eager to expand this service with the appointment of another medical oncologist.
The successful applicant will receive a salary between $168,265 and $195,451 (L18-L24) or up to $201,221 and $213,342 (L25-L27), depending on the level of experience.
