Job Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and skilled individual to join our Physical Operations Department in Melbourne.

About the Role

  • Carry out domestic/green waste collection duties as directed without risk to yourself or others.
  • Drive waste collection vehicle in a safe and competent manner.
  • Maintain the waste collection vehicle in use, in a clean condition at all times.
  • Complete daily tasks as per schedule.
  • Complete daily work sheets as required.
  • Wear safety equipment/protective clothing issued.
  • Participate in review of waste collection procedures.
  • Attend training and meetings as required.

Requirements

  • HR licence required with experience operating loader waste collection vehicles.
  • Experience operating rear loaders desirable.
  • Knowledge of manual handling techniques and OHS Standards essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate side loader waste collection vehicles.
  • Experience in using rear loader waste collection vehicles is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the Waste Industry.
  • Familiarity with WorkCover and OH&S guidelines.
  • COVID vaccinated and willing to obtain a Police Check upon successful placement.
