About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Interior Design Sales Professional to join our team at our South Melbourne store. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting our trade loyalty program, and developing strong product knowledge to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert professional customer service to our retail and trade customers
  • Promote and expand our Trade Loyalty Program and Trade accounts
  • Develop strong product knowledge to assist customers in making the best product choice
  • Achieve and exceed personal sales targets
  • Support other team members to ensure business goals are met
  • Contribute to the overall presentation of the store through merchandising and general housekeeping
  • Support your local community and charitable organisations
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Previous experience in a retail environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to genuinely connect with your customers
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of your job
  • Competency in POS systems and Microsoft Office
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritise your work effectively
  • A strong attention to detail
Salary and Benefits

This part-time role offers a competitive rate of pay ($25-$30 per hour) including higher rates on weekends and public holidays, as well as performance-based profit share incentives, paid birthday leave, and generous team member discounts. Additionally, you will have access to on-site parking, uniform and laundry allowance, and the opportunity to purchase shares through our share scheme.
