Electrician for Equipment Maintenance

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in north-west-Queensland. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring our equipment operates reliably and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Execute planned maintenance tasks on mining equipment to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Work with various types of machinery including Sandvik loaders, development drills, production drills, Atlas Copco compressors, generators, and pumps.
- Conduct routine repairs and servicing in workshop and field environments to maintain optimal performance.
- Maintain health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards by adhering to industry guidelines and best practices.
- Identify potential risks throughout the operation and implement mitigation strategies to prevent accidents.
- Share technical knowledge and best practices with team members to improve overall efficiency.
- Nationally accredited Automotive Electrical Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- C-class driver's license is required for site access.
- Automotive Cert II Air Conditioning license with regulatory knowledge is highly regarded.
- Qualifications such as S1, S2, S3, and HRWL for forklift and OH Gantry Crane operations are an asset.
- At least 2 years of experience in the mining industry is essential.
- Expertise in OEM diagnostic tools, fault-finding, and adjusting parameters is crucial.
- Proficient in reading auto electrical schematics, diagnosing air-conditioning faults, and conducting system repairs.
- Strong risk assessment skills and computer proficiency in CMMS, MS Word, Excel, and email are required.
