Job Opportunity: Content Developer

The Australian Government is seeking a skilled and experienced Content Developer to support the development of digital content for a prominent organization.

This role involves working with technical, process-driven, and supporting documents to create engaging webpages and interactive digital content. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical competencies in producing high-quality digital content, good time management skills, and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop content in SharePoint that supports staff to effectively interact with business units.
  • Assist in content publication, including creating, editing, reviewing, and archiving digital content, ensuring consistency in presentation and branding.
  • Curate Commission documentation and digital asset libraries.
  • Develop site maps and page templates.
  • Document team processes.
  • Respond to Service Desk requests and incidents.
  • Manage cross-functional workflows and ensure high-quality outcomes.

Essential Requirements:

  • Able to read, understand, and interpret technical information to produce engaging digital content.
  • Estimate time to complete technical requirements and report effectively.
  • Edit and publish SharePoint intranet sites to maintain comprehensive and unified suites of interlinked resources.
  • Effective communication skills, including building productive working relationships and participating in idea forums.
  • Strong technical skills in SharePoint, Visio, and DevOps, or demonstrated aptitude in learning new technologies.
