Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Services Lead to join our Sydney team and lead urban development projects with a focus on industrial urban regeneration, residential greenfield, roads, public infrastructure, and water projects.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale urban development projects and a deep understanding of the complexities involved in civil engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the construction services team in the execution of urban development projects.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and standards are met.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team, resolving any issues that arise during the construction process.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience across design and construction management, with a focus on urban development projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Demonstrated construction related civil engineering experience gained across urban development projects working in Australia; exposure to residential and industrial subdivisions is essential with infrastructure experience advantageous.
  • Possess excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and report writing skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • A driver's license is required.
