Finance Director Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Finance Director and drive financial growth in the entertainment and hospitality sector. This full-time role offers a chance to contribute at a strategic level within a large, ASX-listed business.

We are seeking an experienced finance leader with strong technical capability and a drive for continuous improvement. As a Finance Director, you will be responsible for leading month-end and year-end close processes, delivering accurate financial reporting, overseeing audit processes, and mentoring a team of qualified accountants and finance professionals.

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives to support business growth and expansion.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and ASX listing rules.
  • Oversee financial modeling, analysis, and reporting to inform business decisions and drive strategic outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the board of directors, management teams, and external auditors.

Required qualifications include a CA/CPA or equivalent qualification, 5+ years' experience in a senior financial accounting or finance leadership role, and strong knowledge of ERP systems and Excel.
