Job Overview:
- 2-year fixed term research position available in a Centre team.
About the Position:
This role involves supporting and undertaking research activities as part of a funded project examining gender norms, gaming influencers and tween boys.
The successful candidate will contribute to the production of high-quality research outputs and execute the funding agreement.
Key responsibilities include undertaking research tasks aligned with the project scope and collaborating with the research team.
This position offers an opportunity to embed your research expertise into the life of the Centre through ongoing dissemination of the project across RMIT and external partners.
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- An emerging track record of quality research outputs that contribute to existing Centre research areas.
- Experience researching topics related to digital environments and/or the prevention of gender-based violence.
- Skills designing and conducting qualitative research, including online content analysis and interviews.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills for managing a research project and team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Working Conditions:
This position is based at the Melbourne CBD campus with hybrid working options available.
Appointment is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.
