About the Role

This is a permanent part-time position, where you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive clean clothes and linen every day. As a Laundry Assistant, you will work closely with our team to provide efficient and reliable laundry services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all laundry requirements are met each shift, demonstrating your ability to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Complete reporting and documentation as required, adhering to Regis' policies and procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to our residents, their families, and visitors, building trust and rapport through your interactions.
  • Interact with residents in a friendly, helpful, and positive manner, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a laundry capacity or commercial laundry setting, demonstrating your expertise and ability to adapt to new environments.
  • Ability to complete set tasks within designated time frames, showcasing your organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience within aged care (desirable), highlighting your understanding of the sector's unique challenges and opportunities.
