About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mower and Brushcutter Operator to join our team at Green by Nature. As a key member of our groundskeeping crew, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing green spaces across various commercial sites and council-controlled roadsides and open spaces.

Job Description
  • Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are mowed to a high standard.
  • Assist with other groundskeeping tasks as needed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
Key Responsibilities

As a Mower and Brushcutter Operator, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and enhancing green spaces across various commercial sites and council-controlled roadsides and open spaces.
  • Operating various mowing equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
  • Performing routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensuring lawns and green spaces are mowed to a high standard, adhering to quality control measures.
  • Assisting with other groundskeeping tasks as needed, including but not limited to, pruning, weeding, and cleaning.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field is preferred.
  • The ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • A willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun.
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • A valid Driver's Licence.
  • A White Card.
  • A Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
