About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity for a skilled engineer to join the team at Davies Stewart Consulting Pty Ltd as a Senior Project Engineer. As part of the company's partnership with McMahon Services, you will be responsible for supporting the project manager in developing project plans, establishing project criteria, and coordinating project reviews. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project management:
    • Develop and implement project plans to meet client expectations.
    • Analyse and document project needs, goals, and objectives.
    • Provide a focal point for all construction-based queries and advise subcontractors/suppliers.
    • Prepare and submit technical RFI's.
    • Participate in project progress meetings.
    • Assist with the preparation of the project programs.
  2. Commercial, Procurement and Contract Management:
    • Monitor project budgets and schedules to ensure timely completion.
    • Assist in preparing Notices of Delay, variations, and EOT submissions.
    • Assist in preparing Progress Claims to ensure claims are submitted in accordance with individual project contractual Terms & Conditions.
  3. Stakeholder management:
    • Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
    • Analyse customer project needs and address them in alignment with Company values.
Skills & Experience:
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with others.
  • Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
  • Proven experience in structural/infrastructure project management.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering and/or Project Management.
  • Experience in contract administration and management.
  • Knowledge of the engineering industry and Australian Standards.
  • Proficiency in using project management software and ERP systems.
