Land Characterisation Services - Business Development Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing land characterisation service line in Perth. This role involves identifying potential business opportunities, generating leads, and sales of Fugro's innovative solutions using geospatial, geophysics, and geotechnical technologies.

About the Opportunity

The successful candidate will lead the promotion of Fugro's approach, capabilities, and resources through client contact, presentations, and promotional documentation. They will develop sales and marketing strategies while collaborating with the regional Business Development team and colleagues to raise the corporate profile, brand awareness, and increase invitations to tender.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in land characterisation services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Lead the development of sales and marketing strategies to promote Fugro's land characterisation services
  • Collaborate with the Service Line Management and Commercial teams to ensure smooth coordination of the estimation to bidding process
  • Build revenue base via increased sales and marketing efforts to increase contract opportunities and meet sales targets

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a tertiary degree or relevant industry experience in geo-data, geotechnical engineering, geospatial, or surveying. You will also possess strong interpersonal skills in client interfacing, relationships management, and proposals/tendering.

What We Offer

Fugro offers a competitive salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include flexible working hours, hybrid work-from-home options, salary continuance insurance, and access to our global career framework and Fugro academy for career progression.
