Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Ceduna District Health Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing direct, person-centred nursing and midwifery services to patients and clients.
About the Role: This position is ideal for nurses looking to advance their practice, develop professionally, and contribute to the community through compassionate care. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing/midwifery care to patients/clients, with increasing autonomy over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Planning: Assess individual patient/client needs, and plan, implement, and coordinate service delivery in collaboration with other disciplines and agencies.
- Health Promotion and Education: Provide health promotion, education, and support to patients, groups, and carers to enhance health outcomes.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development and support nursing practice through clinical placements, orientation for new staff, and preceptorship of graduates.
Requirements: Applicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
