Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Northbridge Recruitment. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our enterprise environment to ensure the availability of services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support an enterprise environment with over 700 servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Liaise with business support offices to address their IT needs and ensure compliance with SLA objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, support, and optimize key technologies, including network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications, and telecommunications systems.
  • Administer, maintain, and resolve a range of M365 deployments/configurations/escalations.
  • Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
  • Monitor system performance and promptly resolve any issues that arise.
  • Foster strong working relationships with key suppliers and conduct all dealings in a professional and appropriate manner.
  • Assume responsibility for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, virtualization, and cloud environments.
  • Perform or delegate regular backup operations, implementing robust data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.

Technical Landscape:

We are looking for someone with experience in:

  • M365, including Active Directory design
  • VMware ESX and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization
  • Backup solutions
  • A growing Azure footprint
