Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Environmental Specialist to join our team at Technical Resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the environmental approvals process for our projects, overseeing environmental compliance and risk management, and providing general environmental support to other technical disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Environmental Approvals
    • Manage and coordinate environmental surveys and studies to finalize biological baseline reports and data packages for submission to regulators.
    • Develop and implement environmental management plans and offset strategies to be submitted to regulators.
    • Provide environmental support and advice to other technical disciplines.
  • Environmental Compliance and Risk Management
    • Oversee environmental monitoring and inspections.
    • Undertake environmental reporting to external and internal stakeholders.
    • Maintain environmental risks and assurance activities.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in mining/mineral resources.
  • Proven track record in delivering environmental surveys and studies safely and to schedule.
  • Experience in developing and implementing environmental systems, management plans, procedures, etc.
  • Ability to manage environmental risks and collaborate with technical disciplines.
