As a seasoned leader, this role presents an exciting opportunity to drive our Residential Practice Area forward as a Project Manager.
This position offers diverse project portfolios, growth opportunities, and mentorship potential, making it ideal for technically skilled individuals who enjoy working across multiple sectors (residential, commercial, industrial) and want to contribute to land development.
The successful candidate will have the chance to develop their leadership skills by mentoring and growing the team.
This is a hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC, where employees and supervisors collaborate to create a schedule that suits everyone involved.
Responsibilities:
- Direct projects by managing tasks, forecasting workload, addressing financial performance, resource needs, and staffing while collaborating with clients and teammates.
- Oversee client relationships, including meetings, proposal development, and obtaining feedback with Marketing and Practice Area teams.
- Prepare agreements and oversee construction plans, bid documents, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates.
- Analyze complex technical opportunities and devise new or improved techniques, approaches, and solutions.
- Lead, coach, and mentor Team Members to achieve goals and strategies for the Practice Area. Foster career development, training, and career path planning for direct teammates.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Licensed Professional Engineer.
- 7+ years of engineering/industry experience with demonstrated team management experience.
- Self-motivated, engaged, and team-oriented with minimal supervision.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of contracts, accounting principles, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Execute multiple tasks under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven track record of fostering existing client relationships.
Preferred Requirements:
- Project Manager training and/or certifications.
