Store Operations Assistant

This role is focused on supporting the effective and efficient delivery of stores and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics, warehousing, or storage environments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery/equipment, such as pedestrian operated forklifts and automatic strapping machines.
  • Perform routine packing duties, including assembling, packing, and strapping cartons, and affixing labels.
  • Undertake laboring tasks associated with the receipt, transfer, and stacking of stores.
  • Maintain work areas in clean and safe conditions.

Requirements:

  • Suitable experience in stores, logistics, or warehousing environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing the issue and receipt of repair parts, specialist tools, and principal items within a workshop environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Forklift license essential.
  • Driver's License essential.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security clearance pass.

About This Role:

This is a 38-hour Monday to Friday waged role with shift times of 7.00am to 3.45pm Monday to Thursday & 7.00am to 12.00pm on Fridays.

The position will be predominately based in South Guildford, Palmer Barracks, with all uniforms supplied.
