We are currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team based in Tonsley, Adelaide. Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing, you will oversee all operational functions within the Manufacturing division, including Stores management.

Your primary responsibilities include managing resources, scheduling, and supervising production staff to ensure successful project execution. You will also guide production supervisors and team leads, driving innovation, and challenging current practices.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop, deliver, and review the manufacturing operations plan to improve performance across departments.
  • Regularly benchmark against world's best practice to drive innovation and challenge our current thinking.
  • Conduct toolbox meetings with the team for alignment on performance, company procedures, safety, and quality standards.
  • Manage resources within your team and assist the Head of Manufacturing with recruitment and onboarding when necessary.
  • Support Project Managers in managing project scope, commercial, and contractual terms with guidance from the Head of Manufacturing.
  • Manage costs to deliver projects/maintenance within budget constraints, identifying reduced-cost methods.
  • Plan and manage the quality of project and maintenance deliverables.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • A relevant qualification as Electrotechnology Electrician and/or Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years proven manufacturing experience, preferably in the electrical industry.
  • Previous experience leading and developing multi-functional manufacturing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence others.
