**About the Role**

As a Data Engineering leader, you will be responsible for driving the vision and strategy for data engineering within our cloud-based data pipelines. You will also mentor and grow our team, ensuring that we have the necessary standards and frameworks in place to deliver exceptional results.
**Key Responsibilities**
---------------------
* Drive the vision and strategy for data engineering within cloud-based data pipelines
* Proactively mentor and grow the team, including developing standards and frameworks
* Manage and develop a high-performing team as a technology thought leader
**Requirements**
------------
* Strong stakeholder-centric focus with a proven track record of delivering efficiencies and implementing new ways of working
* High proficiency in SQL (or similar) and successful development experience with scripting languages and tools
* Proven experience in on-prem and cloud-based data engineering solution design and delivery in a medium to large enterprise
* Design and implement DevOps frameworks and streamlined data pipelines
* Evidence of customer service focus, creating a culture of innovation, collaboration, and performance
