
Dysphagia and Communication Clinician

- Deliver dysphagia and communication assessment and intervention for adults in residential aged care and the community.
As a dedicated mobile clinician, you will provide high-quality services to adults living with various conditions such as dementia, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke, progressive neurological disorders, and ageing-related decline.
You will have access to extensive resources, internal clinical supervision, and opportunities to attend workshops. You can choose your work hours and locations, managing your calendar accordingly.
**Key Responsibilities Include:**
- Assessing and diagnosing clients' swallowing and communication difficulties.
- Providing telehealth-based dysphagia and/or communication assessment and intervention.
- Liaising with our national team of clinicians.
- Advocating for support for clients with communication difficulties.
- Working closely with organisational staff and colleagues to ensure optimum care needs are met.
- Providing consultative and educational support to clients, their families, and colleagues.

**Requirements**
Hold a professional qualification in Speech Pathology and be an active member of Speech Pathology Australia. Travel requirements necessitate a driver's license and reliable transport.
