Warehouse Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have current LF Forklift licence and previous forklift driving experience.

About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for unloading and loading trucks in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment, assembling timber pallets/crates as required, and operating basic machinery safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Unload and load trucks promptly and efficiently, minimizing delays and ensuring smooth operations.
  2. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space, adhering to all safety protocols and standards.
  3. Assemble timber pallets/crates as needed, utilizing knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
  4. Operate basic machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely and effectively, adhering to all manufacturer instructions and guidelines.

Requirements:

  1. Candidates must hold a valid LF Forklift licence and possess prior experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
  2. A strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively is essential.
  3. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, being able to effectively collaborate with colleagues and maintain a positive working relationship.
  4. Able to lift up to 25kg and work at heights, candidates should also be physically fit and comfortable with manual labor.
  5. Flexibility and adaptability are key, with the ability to work varied shifts including weekends and overtime when required.
