This exciting opportunity exists for an experienced training professional to join our team as a Manager Operational Training. As a key member of our training unit, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of comprehensive volunteer training programs across the district.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on training strategy and curriculum development to ensure alignment with organisational frameworks and industry standards.
  • Liaise with Area Training Officers to ensure best-practice training delivery and personnel development, including mentoring and coaching to improve training methods and resources.
  • Develop and implement the annual volunteer training plan, ensuring it addresses current and future training requirements and is aligned with organisational goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including registered training organisations and industry experts, to ensure access to quality training resources and expertise.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and improvement, encouraging staff and volunteers to adopt best practices and share knowledge and expertise.
