About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at EBR, a leading global payment and risk management solutions firm based in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Mandarin speaking professional with experience in foreign exchange to drive business growth and develop strong client relationships.

Job Summary

  • Develop and maintain existing client relationships, identifying new opportunities for growth and expansion;
  • Source and evaluate prospective clients' foreign exchange needs, researching and analyzing market trends to ascertain potential opportunities;
  • Sell our company's solutions using a consultative approach, following a structured sales process to understand clients' needs and provide tailored solutions;
  • Manage the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring seamless integration into our systems and services;
  • Ensure all internal processes and SLAs are followed to deliver exceptional customer experiences;
  • Maintain professional knowledge by staying up-to-date with industry best practices, attending educational workshops, and participating in professional societies;
  • Contribute to the team effort by achieving related results as needed;
  • Monitor market research to stay informed about competitors' product developments, marketing strategies, and emerging trends;
  • Review spending habits, marketing efforts, values, and risk analysis to identify areas for improvement;
  • Report weekly sales numbers to Regional Managers and update the team on performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Able to speak fluent Mandarin;
  • Professional approach to prospective clients, coupled with active listening skills and an inquisitive nature;
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team towards specific sales goals;
  • University or college degree;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Excel databases, and CRM systems;
  • Previous experience in outbound B2B phone marketing or sales;
  • Substantiated interest in FX services and products, the foreign exchange markets, and the SME business sector;
  • High degree of self-motivation and focus, along with effective organizational and time management skills.

What We Offer

In this role, you can expect a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including:
