Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide environmental advice and support our operations in Perth. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in environmental management, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to project success.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Offer expert environmental guidance to internal teams and external partners.
  • Develop and implement collaborative performance frameworks.
  • Drive the implementation of environmental management systems (EMS) and contingency emergency management plans (CEMP).
  • Evaluate and mitigate environmental risks, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Deliver environmental training to colleagues and contractors.
  • Liaise with traditional owners to develop heritage protection plans.
  • Promote compliance with regulatory requirements, including NGERS, waste management, and Part V license reports.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with Commonwealth environmental approval processes.
  • Experience in environmental compliance and management.
  • Proven track record in similar roles within natural resources or equivalent sectors.
  • Adequate knowledge of GIS software, data capture, and interpretation.
  • Demonstrated understanding of key environmental and social risks associated with natural resources projects.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder relationship, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
