Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per year

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Solutions Designer to join our growing organization in Melbourne. The successful candidate will work closely with the Product Manager and squad to ensure technical designs align with business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience working on SaaS products, BPM, and Digital Automation platforms such as Pega. A strong understanding of Service Oriented Architecture patterns, including SOAP and REST-based implementation patterns, is essential. Additionally, knowledge of AI/ML and RPA is highly desirable.

This role involves defining, proposing, and evolving solution options based on business needs, current state, and target state. The successful candidate will take ownership of solution design, verifying its correctness post-implementation, and proactively recommend changes to improve our products as technology evolves.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Product Manager and squad to ensure technical design aligns with initiative goals and objectives.
  • Ensure the development team is set up for success, providing the right information, technical user stories, and tech designs to unblock them.
  • Define, propose, and evolve appropriate solution options based on business needs, current state, and target state.
  • Take ownership of solution design, verifying its correctness post-implementation.
  • Proactively recommend changes to improve our products as technology evolves and ensure the solution aligns with business metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • More than 8 years of experience working as a Tech Analyst on SaaS products, BPM, and Digital Automation platforms such as Pega.
  • Strong knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture patterns, including SOAP and REST-based implementation patterns.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML, RPA.
  • Degree in software engineering or IT or equivalent experience.
