Electrical Instrumentation Technician

UGL Defence is seeking a skilled Electrical Instrumentation Technician to join our Operations & Maintenance team in the Defence sector. This is a unique opportunity to work on a long-term contract, supporting the national security requirements of the Nation.
The successful candidate will be based at RAAF Albatross, supporting surrounding locations in the Shoalhaven region, with occasional regional travel. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing scheduled maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipment.
- Diagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment of fuel related assets and equipment.
- Project work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipment.
- Supporting subcontracted work packages as required.
- Supporting various sites in the Shoalhaven region, with occasional requirement to travel to various sites throughout NSW.
Competitive Remuneration Package
The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate, plus superannuation, tool allowance, and licence allowance. The remuneration package includes:
- Level 1: $44.28 per hour, plus super, tool allowance ($35.27 weekly), and licence allowance ($48.79 weekly)
- Level 2: $47.76 per hour, plus super, tool allowance ($35.27 weekly), and licence allowance ($48.79 weekly)
- Level 3 (Dual trade): $51.26 per hour, plus super, tool allowance ($35.27 weekly), and licence allowance ($48.79 weekly)
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess:
- Cert IV Instrumentation and A-grade electrical licence with relevant post-trade experience.
- Proven experience working in fixed plant maintenance, ideally fuel services or Oil & Gas.
- Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) trained required.
- Confined space and working at heights tickets will be highly regarded.
- Safety is at the forefront of everything you do.
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, appropriate Defence Security Clearance.
