Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our community as an Assistant Principal. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and committed to making a positive impact on the lives of students, teachers, and parents.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting educational leadership and management at the school, developing and implementing effective educational programs, and building strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.

To succeed in this role, you will require a current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People, full registration as a teacher within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act 2000, and qualifications as established by the Tasmanian Industrial Commission in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award, 2005.

Desirable qualities for this position include four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award 2005.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support educational leadership and management at the school.
  • Develop and implement effective educational programs.
  • Build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
  • Registered teacher with full registration within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act 2000.
