About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Expert to join our Engineering Construction Division in Victoria Park. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the success of projects by ensuring compliance with quality management systems, customer specifications, and contract requirements.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as professional development opportunities and a comprehensive compensation package.

Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Expert, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading operational quality activities and directing quality control;
  • Facilitating project start-up deliverables, establishing clear dates and deliverables required by contracts;
  • Supporting the recruitment and onboarding of project quality resources, including providing an overview of project quality requirements;
  • Providing Subject Matter Expertise (SME) advice to project quality personnel and supporting the resolution of technical quality issues;
  • Managing offsite fabrication activities and resources, ensuring work conformance against specified criteria;
  • Completion of project quality auditing and schedule development;
  • Managing relationships with customers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders;
  • Driving operations to enhance processes and support change to sustain efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Providing safety leadership, identifying hazards, and advising on safety procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with robust knowledge of the operational quality environment;
  • Experience managing offsite fabrication activities and resources, ensuring work conformance against specified criteria;
  • A minimum CWIP 3.1 and onsite experience;
  • Internal auditor qualification and experience;
  • A good understanding and knowledge of Welding and NDT activities;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer-facing focus;
  • An excellent working knowledge of MS Office software packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
