The Role

We are seeking an Analyst Level II to conduct routine sample preparation and food testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a wide range of tests using manual, semi-automated, and fully automated techniques. They will also analyze data and report results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving, registering, weighing, and preparing samples
  • Managing multiple tests and tasks simultaneously, coordinating with other personnel
  • Managing contingencies and operating analytical equipment
  • Assisting with client sample pick-ups and communicating sample requirements
  • Choosing and optimizing procedures and equipment settings
Requirements
  • Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Science or related discipline (desirable)
  • Hands-on experience in a laboratory environment (desirable)
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet daily deadlines
  • Capacity to work effectively as part of a team
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with a strong customer focus
