Seaboard Maintenance Craftsman

This role requires an individual to perform maintenance and repairs on marine structures such as jetties, wharfs, boat ramps and maritime buildings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, physical fitness and a carpentry trade certificate.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring inspection records are completed and maintained, carrying out general maintenance repairs and labouring tasks. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday with opportunities for paid overtime and statewide travel.

• Perform routine maintenance and repair work on marine structures
• Carry out general maintenance repairs and manual labour tasks
• Ensure accurate completion and maintenance of inspection records

• Strong physical fitness and a robust work ethic
• Relevant trade certification in carpentry or a related field
• A valid driver's license (LR) and construction induction card
• Chain saw operation ticket (desirable but not essential)
• Ability to work confidently in a water-based environment
• Prior experience in a similar role highly valued
