Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate heavy vehicles across interstate routes.
  • Follow allocated schedules and routes for on-time freight delivery.
  • Assist with loading and unloading, ensuring load restraint compliance.
  • Maintain logbooks, work/rest compliance, fuel receipts, and trip paperwork.
  • Perform pre-trip inspections and report any safety/mechanical issues.
  • Collaborate with the transport team to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Uphold high standards of safety and service.
About You
  • Hold a current MC licence with a clean driving history.
  • Road train experience is highly desirable.
  • Have experience across various freight and load restraint systems.
  • Familiarity with NHVAS Mass, Maintenance, and Fatigue protocols.
  • Able to work with on-board reporting technology (tablets).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
