About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Development team as a Director of Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating and soliciting major gifts, as well as establishing credible connections with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and solicit major gifts from donors and stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including alumni, parents, and community leaders
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve fundraising goals
  • Collaborate with the School Council, Headmaster, and Executives to identify funding opportunities and develop compelling proposals
  • Provide guidance and support to the Development team to ensure successful execution of fundraising initiatives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong background in philanthropic development, particularly in cultivating and soliciting major gifts
  • Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • A confident approach to identifying new opportunities and strengthening existing funding relationships
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage a team and work collaboratively with other teams
  • A solid understanding of the breadth and depth of Trinity's philanthropy and development program

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $150-$170K plus 11.5% superannuation, as well as access to salary packaging and generous fee discounts for sons enrolled at the School.
