Programmed Heavy Equipment Operator Apprenticeship

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in the heavy equipment industry?

We are seeking highly motivated and safety-focused individuals to join our team as a Heavy Equipment Operator Apprentice. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced operators and learn the skills necessary to operate a range of heavy equipment vehicles.

About the Role:
  • This is a 24-month full-time permanent position
  • You will be working with a leading mining client in the Hunter Valley, NSW
  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain nationally recognized qualifications and develop their skills in operating heavy equipment
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a range of heavy equipment vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Assist experienced operators with daily tasks and activities
  • Develop your knowledge and skills in operating heavy equipment through on-the-job training and mentorship
Requirements:
  • Candidate must hold a current Car P2 drivers' licence or higher
  • Able to confidently drive a manual vehicle
  • Must be able to work a rotating roster including nights and weekends
  • Hold a valid Order 43 Coal Services Health medical and D&A Test certificate
